1 Injured in Abilene Crash at Buffalo Gap Road and Rio Mesa Drive
Abilene, Texas (March 29, 2019) – A driver was injured Thursday morning in a traffic accident in south Abilene, according to a local news source.
The accident occurred at around 9:30 a.m. Thursday, March 28 at the intersection of Buffalo Gap Road and Rio Mesa Drive.
Police said an 18-wheeler was parked on the side of Buffalo Gap Road unloading something when it was hit by a jeep.
The jeep driver, who was distracted, was transported to a hospital in unknown condition.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
