63-Year-Old Man Killed in Houston Pedestrian Accident on Dashwood Drive

Houston, Texas (January 15, 2021) – A 63-year-old man was killed in a pedestrian accident Sunday afternoon in Houston, according to police.

The deadly accident occurred around 1:15 p.m., January 10, in the 6200 block of Dashwood Drive.

Police said the man was crossing the street, outside of a crosswalk, when he was struck by a gray GMC Sierra pickup truck that had just exited a private drive.

The pickup driver remained at the scene and cooperated with investigators.

The man was taken to Memorial Hermann Hospital, where he died on January 11.

The police are investigating the crash.
