Raul Ramos-Mejia Killed in Fort Worth Two-Vehicle Crash on Rosedale Street at Griggs Avenue; Roberto Rivera Arrested

Fort Worth, Texas (August 6, 2022) – According to the police, a 39-year-old man was killed on July 25 in a two-vehicle crash in Fort Worth.

The fatal crash happened around 6:30 a.m., in the 2300 block of East Rosedale Street at Griggs Avenue.

Police said Roberto Jeremiah Rivera Jr., 22, from Richland Hills, was driving a BMW at a high rate of speed westbound while 39-year-old Raul Ramos-Mejia was driving a Mitsubishi eastbound.

Ramos-Mejia was turning northbound onto Griggs Avenue when his Mitsubishi was hit by the BMW.

Ramos-Mejia was taken to a hospital where he later died.

Rivera was arrested and charged with manslaughter for driving at an excessive and unsafe speed.

The police are investigating the crash.
