Patricia Munoz Struck, Killed by Car on Loop 338 in Ector County

37-Year-Old Patricia Munoz Killed in Ector County Pedestrian Accident on Loop 338

Ector County, Texas (May 18, 2020) – A woman was struck and killed by a car Sunday evening in Ector County, about five miles from Odessa, according to the Texas Department of Public Safety.

The deadly accident occurred around 6:41 p.m. May 17, on Loop 338.

DPS said a Chrysler 300 was traveling northbound when it struck Patricia Munoz, 37, of Odessa, who was in the middle of the roadway.

Munoz was taken to Medical Center Hospital, where she later died.

The driver of the Chrysler, James Comeaux, 20 of Odessa, was uninjured in the crash.

An investigation into the crash is underway.
