Gerardo Martinez Ortiz Killed in San Antonio Two-Vehicle Crash on Interstate 10

San Antonio, Texas (June 26, 2019) – One person was killed in a two-vehicle crash Monday evening in San Antonio, according to the authorities.

The fatal crash occurred around 7:26 p.m. June 24, on Interstate 10.

Authorities said a 51-year-old Gerardo Martinez Ortiz, was driving a white Chevrolet Silverado northbound on the interstate when he slowed down for traffic and was rear-ended by a semi-truck.

Ortiz was pronounced dead at the scene.

An investigation is underway.
