Addison, Texas (July 3, 2019) – Authorities have identified the ten people who were killed Sunday morning in a plane crash in Addison.

The deadly plane accident happened just after 9:00 a.m. Sunday, June 30 at the Addison Airport.

Authorities said a twin-engine Beechcraft BE-350 King Air had just taken off for St. Petersburg, Florida when it crashed into the private hangar. The plane then caught on fire.

Two crew members and eight passengers on board were killed in the fiery crash.

The pilot was Howard Cassady, 71, and the co-pilot was Mathew Palmer, 27. A family of four were among the other victims. Brian Ellard, 52, his wife Ornella Ellard,45, and her two children,  Alice Maritato, 15, and Dylan Maritato,13.

Two other victims were John Titus, 61 and his wife, Mary Titus, 60.

The NTSB is investigating the crash. Anyone who witnessed the accident or has video of it to email them at witness@ntsb.gov.
