Three Killed, 3 Seriously Injured in Harris County Three-Vehicle Crash at Beltway 8 and Antoine Drive

Harris County, Texas (February 6, 2020) – Three people were killed, and three others were seriously injured in a three-vehicle crash on Wednesday in Harris County, according to the deputies.

The fatal crash occurred on Wednesday, February 5, at the intersection of the North Beltway 8 feeder road and Antoine Drive.

Deputies said an SUV was heading southbound on Antoine Drive when it ran a red light and hit a vehicle that was heading eastbound on the Beltway 8 feeder road.

The impact caused the vehicle that was hit by the SUV to spin around.

The SUV then hit a van occupied by four people. The van caught fire following the impact.

Three people in the van, including an infant, were killed in the crash. A fourth person in the van was ejected and was taken to the hospital in critical condition.

Two people in the SUV, including an 11-year-old child, were taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.

One person in the car that was hit by the SUV was not seriously injured in the crash.

The SUV driver is facing three counts of intoxication manslaughter and two counts of intoxicated assault.

The crash remains under investigation.
