Isaac Ramos ID’d as Pedestrian Hit and Killed by Vehicle at U.S. Highway 83 and JM Alvarez Street in Rio Grande City
Rio Grande City, Texas (May 21, 2019) – The pedestrian who was struck and killed by a vehicle Saturday morning at a Rio Grande City intersection has been identified as Isaac Ramos, 16, of Roma, according to police.
The deadly pedestrian accident took place just after 3:00 a.m. Saturday, May 18 at the intersection of U.S. Highway 83 and JM Alvarez Street.
Police said a white Chevy Silverado driven by a 17-year old, struck Ramos for an undetermined reason at the Rio Grande City intersection.
Ramos died in the accident.
Alcohol or drugs were not considered factors in the crash. Authorities are still investigating to determine the cause of the accident.
