Man Killed in San Antonio Pedestrian Crash on Highway 281 South

San Antonio, Texas (August 11, 2019) – A man was killed when he was struck by a hit-and-run driver on Saturday night in San Antonio, according to police.

The incident happened at around 10 p.m. Saturday, August 10, on Highway 281 South.

Police said a man was working on his motorcycle at the side of the highway when a pickup truck swerved and struck him. The driver of the truck continued traveling southbound on the highway without stopping to check on the victim.

The victim died at the scene of the crash.

Police are conducting an investigation into the incident.
