Jamil Wilson Killed in Lubbock Pedestrian Accident on Marsha Sharp Freeway

Lubbock, Texas (November 30, 2022) – The man who was killed early Tuesday morning in a hit-and-run accident in Lubbock has been identified as 33-year-old Jamil Wilson, according to the police.

The deadly accident happened around 1:12 a.m., November 29, in the 2100 block of Marsha Sharp Freeway.

Police said Wilson was attempting to walk across the eastbound lanes of the freeway when he was struck by a vehicle.

The vehicle fled the scene after the accident.

Wilson was pronounced dead at the scene.

No additional information was available.

The police are investigating the crash.
