Thelia Seelbach Killed in Nacogdoches 18-Wheeler Crash on US Highway 59 near North Stallings Drive

Nacogdoches, Texas – The woman who was killed Wednesday afternoon in an 18-wheeler crash in Nacogdoches has been identified as Thelia Seelbach, 63, of Nacogdoches, according to the DPS.

The fatal crash happened around 2:40 p.m., on December 13, on U.S. Highway 59 near North Stallings Drive.

DPS said Seelbach was driving a Honda Pilot northbound on the highway while a Freightliner semi-truck was also traveling northbound.

Seelbach made an unsafe turn in front of the semi-truck, resulting in a collision.

Seelbach was pronounced dead at the scene.

The semi-truck driver was treated at the scene.

The Texas Highway Patrol is investigating the crash.
