Three Injured in Sherman Two-Vehicle Crash on Grand Avenue Overpass near Old Settlers Park

Sherman, Texas (August 27, 2022) – Three people were injured Friday afternoon in a head-on collision in Sherman, according to the police.

The crash happened during the lunch hour on August 26, on the Grand Avenue overpass near Old Settlers Park.

Police said a pickup truck malfunctioned, swerved into oncoming traffic, and crashed head-on into another pickup truck.

Three people were taken to the hospital for treatment.

The crash closed the overpass, but it has since been reopened.

The police are investigating the crash.
