Woman Killed in North Austin Train-Pedestrian Accident on Duval Road

Austin, Texas (December 16, 2019) – A in her 40s woman was struck and killed by a Union Pacific train Sunday afternoon in Northwest Austin, officials said.

The accident happened around 3:15 p.m. on December 15, on Duval Road near the San Marin apartment complex.

Officials said the woman was struck for unknown reasons by a Union Pacific train.

The woman’s body was found around the 4000 block of Duval Road. Her name has not been disclosed.
