Javier Cuellar Killed in Mission Pedestrian Accident on La Homa Road near 5 Mile Line Road

Mission, Texas (July 5, 2022) – An Alton man was killed Monday night in a pedestrian accident in Mission, according to the troopers.

The deadly accident happened around 10:00 p.m., on July 4, on La Homa Road, just north of 5 Mile Line Road.

Troopers said a gray Ford Focus was traveling southbound when it struck Javier Cuellar, 33, who was crossing the street.

Cuellar was pronounced dead at the scene.

The female driver stopped at the scene to render aid.

The troopers are investigating the crash.
