Jessica Harper Killed in San Antonio Two-Vehicle Crash at Culebra Road and Alamo Downs Parkway

San Antonio, Texas (May 9, 2022) – One person was killed, and another was injured Saturday evening in a hit-and-run accident in San Antonio’s Northwest Side, according to the police.

The deadly crash happened around 5:30 p.m., May 7, at the intersection of Culebra Road and Alamo Downs Parkway, inside Loop 410.

According to the police, witnesses said a black GMC Yukon was heading westbound on Culebra Road when it ran a red light at the intersection and struck a gray Ford Focus that was turning from Alamo Downs Parkway.

The Yukon driver fled the scene after the crash heading northbound on Alamo Downs Parkway. The authorities are still looking for them.

The Focus driver, Jessica Harper, 44, was taken to University Hospital, where she later died.

A passenger in the Focus, a 74-year-old woman, was also taken to University Hospital with a broken left shoulder and was listed in stable condition.

The police are investigating the crash.
