Jessica Rae Saathoff ID’d as Bicyclist Killed in Austin Crash on East Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard near Interstate 35
Austin, Texas (March 30, 2019) –  Authorities have identified the cyclist who was killed Thursday night in a traffic accident in East Austin as Jessica Rae Saathoff,28.
The deadly crash occurred at about 9:00 p.m. Thursday, March 28 on East Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard, just east of Interstate 35.
According to police, Saathoff was riding her bicycle eastbound on MLK when she veered across the double yellow line into the path of a Toyota 4Runner. She then collided with the Toyota.
Saathoff was taken to Dell Seton Medical Center where she later succumbed to her injuries.
The SUV driver stopped at the scene and complied with investigators.
