Juan Rodriguez ID’d as Man Killed in El Paso Crash on Pebbles Hills at Tierra Balnda

El Paso, Texas (November 4, 2023) – Police have identified the man who died following a traffic crash on Wednesday evening in El Paso as Juan Antonio Rodriguez, 55.

The deadly crash took place in the 12400 block of Pebbles Hills at Tierra Balnda.

According to the police, Agustin Hernandez, 77, was attempting to make a left turn onto Tierra Balnda when he failed to yield right of way and sideswiped a vehicle that was possibly speeding westbound on Pebbles Hills, driven by Johntrayious Deontra Austin, 26.

Hernandez and Austin lost control and struck two other vehicles.

Hernandez sustain minor injuries while Austin and a third driver, now identified as Rodriguez, sustain major injuries. Rodriguez succumbed to his injuries at the hospital.

The crash remains under investigation.
