Kenneth Richard Evenson ID’d as Person Killed in Amarillo Crash at Willow Creek Avenue and North Dumas Highway
Amarillo, Texas (February 19, 2019) – The person who was killed Tuesday morning in a traffic accident in north Amarillo has been identified as Kenneth Richard Evenson, 67, according to police.
The deadly crash was reported at about 6:17 a.m. at Willow Creek Avenue and North Dumas Highway.
Police said Ismael Espinosa-Carbrera, 45, of Dallas, was driving a semi-truck when they failed to stop at a stop sign for southbound traffic and struck a 1993 Jeep Wrangler driven by Evenson, who was traveling westbound on Willow Creek.
Evenson was pronounced dead at the scene.
No other injuries were reported.
An investigation into the crash is underway.
