Liyah-Grace Holsey Struck, Killed by Two Vehicles on Sublett Road in Arlington

Liyah-Grace Holsey Killed in Arlington Pedestrian Accident at Sublett Road and Park Springs Boulevard

Arlington, Texas – A 10-year-old girl was struck and killed by two vehicles Thursday afternoon in Arlington, according to officials.

The deadly accident happened just before 4:00 p.m., December 14, at the intersection of Sublett Road and Park Springs Boulevard near Mary Moore Elementary School.

Officials said the girl, who was identified by the Arlington Independent School District as fifth-grade Mary Moore Elementary School student Liyah-Grace Holsey, was attempting to cross from the northbound side of Sublett Road to the southbound side when she was struck by two vehicles.

Holsey was taken to the hospital where she was pronounced dead.

Both drivers remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigators.

An investigation into the crash is underway.
