Woman Seriously Injured in Schertz Train-Pedestrian Accident on FM 78 near Cut Off Park

Schertz, Texas (March 21, 2021) – A woman was hit by a train on Saturday in Schertz, according to police.

The accident happened on March 20, in the 100 block of FM 78 near Cut Off Park.

Police said the woman was walking near the tracks when she was struck by an oncoming train.

The woman was taken to the San Antonio Military Medical Center (SAMMC) with serious injuries.

No other details were provided.

The police are investigating the crash.
