11 Injured in Houston 6-Vehicle Crash on I-10 at Barker Cypress

Houston, Texas (December 19, 2021) – 11 people were injured Saturday morning in a six-vehicle crash in Houston, according to the police.

The crash happened around 7:00 a.m., December 18, on the I-10 Katy Freeway at Barker Cypress.

Police said a gray Honda had a mechanical issue and stopped on the road, causing a chain reaction involving five other vehicles.

One of the vehicles flipped onto its side after the crash.

Eleven people, including four children, were taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

No other details were provided.

The crash remains under investigation.
