2 Pedestrians Killed in Traffic Accident on Shepherd Drive in Houston

64-Year-Old Man, 25-Year-Old Woman Killed in Houston Pedestrian Accident on North Shepherd Drive
Houston, Texas (April 3, 2019) – Two pedestrians were struck and killed by a vehicle Saturday night in Houston, according to a local news source.
The fatal crash happened at around 9:35 p.m. Saturday, March 30 in the 800 block of North Shepherd Drive.
As per the report, the two pedestrians were in the street when they were hit by a blue Chevrolet Cruze that was heading northbound on North Shepherd Drive.
The two pedestrians, a 64-year-old man and a 25-year-old woman, were taken to a local hospital, where there were declared dead.
The driver initially fled the scene but returned a short time later. The motorist cooperated with the investigators.
Alcohol or drugs were not a factor in the crash.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
