Woman Critically Injured in Car Crash on Loop 410 in San Antonio

37-Year-Old Woman Critically Injured in San Antonio Two-Vehicle Crash on Loop 410 near Austin Highway

San Antonio, Texas (November 22, 2021) – A woman was critically injured early Sunday morning in a two-vehicle crash in San Antonio’s Northeast Side, according to the police.

The crash happened just before 3:00 a.m., November 21, in the 2500 block of NE Loop 410 Access Rd, near Austin Highway.

Police said a Lexus was traveling westbound in the left lane of the access road while a black Hyundai was traveling westbound in the right lane.

The Lexus collided with the Hyundai while it was making a lane change to the left lane.

The front passenger of the Lexus, a 37-year-old woman, was taken to a local hospital in critical condition. She was not wearing her seatbelt at the time of the crash.

The Lexus driver is expected to be charged with Driving While Intoxicated.

The police are investigating the crash.
