Man Killed in San Antonio Pedestrian Accident on SE Loop 410 near Lord Road

San Antonio, Texas (June 12, 2020) – A man was fatally hit by a vehicle Thursday night in San Antonio’s East Side, a local news source reported.

The accident occurred just after 10:00 p.m. on June 11, on the service road of SE Loop 410 near Lord Road.

Police said the man was crossing the street, outside of a crosswalk, when he was hit by a vehicle. The driver said she didn’t see the victim and tried to swerve but ended up hitting him. The area was dark at the time of the accident.

The man was killed in the accident. His name has not been released.

The driver remained at the scene after the accident.

An investigation is underway.
