Loren Ahmad Abbas ID’d as Man Killed in Arlington Motorcycle Accident on North Collins Street at Skyline Drive
Arlington, Texas (August 30, 2019) – The man who was killed in a motorcycle accident Wednesday night in Arlington has been identified as Loren Ahmad Abbas, 32, of Fort Worth, according to the Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s Office.
The fatal crash took place around 10:35 p.m. August 28, in the 1500 block of North Collins Street at Skyline Drive.
Police said Abbas was riding a motorcycle northbound when he picked up speed and changed lanes around a southbound vehicle.
The car began to turn left onto Skyline Drive and Abbas crashed into it.
The impact caused the car to roll over.
Abbas was pronounced dead at the scene.
The car driver was taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The crash remains under investigation.
