Man Dies in Fatal Auto-Pedestrian Crash on I-35 in Valley View

Celina Man Killed in Valley View Pedestrian Accident on I-35

Valley View, Texas (February 5, 2019) – A man from Celina was struck and killed by a vehicle after he stepped out of a disabled vehicle in Valley View early Sunday morning, according to the DPS.
The crash was reported at about 3:40 a.m. February 3 on Interstate 35 near Mile Marker 485.
DPS said a 52-year-old Celina man was driving a 2014 Chrysler 300 northbound on I-35 when he crashed into the guardrail. The vehicle got disabled in the collision and as the driver walked into the roadway, he was struck by a northbound 1999 Chrysler 300.
The victim died at the scene of the accident.
The four people riding in the 1999 Chrysler were all transported to Medical City of Denton with non-life-threatening injuries.
The authorities are investigating the crash.
