Man Dies in Corpus Christi Pedestrian Accident on Crosstown Expressway

Corpus Christi, Texas (February 8, 2019) – A man was struck and killed by a vehicle in Corpus Christi on Thursday evening, according to the police.
The crash took place on the Crosstown Expressway at near Agnes on Thursday, February 7.
Police said two men were trying to cross the Crosstown Expressway when they decided to turn back halfway through and one of them was hit by a van.
The victim died in the crash. The second pedestrian fled the scene after the incident.
Police said the van driver remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigators.
The identities of the parties involved were not immediately released.
The crash remains under investigation.
