2 Injured in Fiery Tanker Truck Accident on U.S. Highway 75 in Plano

2 Hospitalized after Plano Crash on U.S. Highway 75 near Parker Road

Plano, Texas (August 2, 2023) – Two people were hospitalized after a fiery crash involving a tanker truck on Wednesday morning in Plano, according to police.

The wreck occurred at about 5:30 a.m. in the northbound lanes of U.S. Highway 75 near Parker Road.

Police said the tanker truck lost control and slid on the road, hitting three other vehicles.

The tanker then caught fire.

Two people sustained non-life threatening injuries and was transported to a hospital.

No further details about the crash were immediately available.

The crash remains under investigation.
