Austin, Texas (February 10, 2020) – One person was killed in a two-vehicle crash early Monday morning in North Austin, according to the police.

The fatal crash occurred at about 1:30 a.m. in the area of Mearns Meadow Boulevard and Rutland Drive.

Police said the crash involved two vehicles.

One person was pronounced dead at the scene.

Another person was detained.

No further details were provided.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
