Bicyclist Killed in Crash on North Collins Street in Arlington

One Killed in Arlington Bicycle Accident on North Collins Street

Arlington, Texas (January 29, 2021) – The bicyclist who was injured last week in a traffic accident in Arlington has died, according to police.

The accident happened around 9:30 p.m., January 21, on North Collins Street.

Police said the bicyclist was attempting to cross the street when he was hit by a car.

Officers said it was dark and foggy at the time of the accident, and the bicyclist didn’t have any reflective clothing or light on his bicycle.

The victim was taken to the hospital, where he died on January 27. His name has not been released.

The driver of the car remained at the scene after the accident and cooperated with investigators.

The police are investigating the crash.
