Person Critically Injured in South Austin Pedestrian Accident on Menchaca Road

Austin, Texas (September 25, 2020) – A person was critically injured in a pedestrian accident Friday morning in South Austin, a local news source reported.

The accident happened just before 6:00 a.m. on Menchaca Road just south of Slaughter Lane.

According to the report, a pedestrian was struck by a car, for unknown reasons, on the roadway.

The victim was taken to St. David’s South Austin Medical Center with life-threatening injuries.

No other information was available.

An investigation is underway.
