Woman Killed in Head-On Crash on Flores Street and Dickson Avenue in San Antonio

Woman Killed in San Antonio Two-Vehicle Crash on S. Flores Street and E. Dickson Avenue near SE Military Drive

San Antonio, Texas (March 27, 2022) – A woman was killed early Sunday morning in a head-on collision in San Antonio’s South Side, according to the police.

The fatal crash happened just before midnight, off S. Flores Street and E. Dickson Avenue near SE Military Drive.

Police said a 2006 Chevy Trailblazer crossed over into oncoming traffic and crashed head-on into 2004 Buick Rendezvous.

A woman in the Buick was ejected from the vehicle and was pronounced dead at the scene. Another woman in the vehicle was taken to the hospital in stable condition.

The Chevy driver was extricated from the vehicle and taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries. He was found to be intoxicated and will be booked by proxy for Intoxication Manslaughter.

The area was blocked off for several hours.

The police are investigating the crash.
