34-Year-Old Woman and 7-Year-Old Boy Killed in Dallas Two-Vehicle Crash on Interstate 35

Dallas, Texas (July 2, 2022) – A woman and a boy were killed Wednesday afternoon in a two-vehicle crash in Dallas, according to a local news source.

The fatal crash happened around 4:16 p.m., June 29, in the northbound lanes of Interstate 35E near 635.

According to the report, a pickup truck was traveling at a high rate of speed when it attempted to make a lane change but rear-ended a passenger car.

The force of the impact caused the pickup to lose control and hit a pillar.

The pickup truck driver, a 34-year-old woman, was pronounced dead at the scene. Her name has not been released. A 7-year-old male passenger in the pickup was taken to Children’s Dallas Hospital, where he was pronounced dead. His name has not been released.

The Dallas County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the crash.
