Driver Injured in Two-Vehicle Crash at Sunset and Southwest in San Angelo

One Hospitalized after San Angelo Two-Vehicle Crash at Sunset and Southwest

San Angelo, Texas (February 25, 2020) – One person was injured in a two-vehicle crash Tuesday morning in San Angelo, according to a local news source.

The crash occurred around 11:55 a.m. at the intersection of Sunset and Southwest.

Police said a black expedition was heading southbound on Southwest when it ran a red light and hit a silver passenger car that was traveling eastbound on Sunset.

According to witnesses, the silver vehicle had a green light at the time of the crash.

The driver of the silver vehicle was taken to the hospital with unknown injuries.

The Expedition driver was cited for disregarding a red light.

The crash remains under investigation.
