Woman Injured in Katy Two-Vehicle Crash on Mason at Katy Briar

Katy, Texas (August 12, 2020) – A woman was injured in a two-vehicle crash Tuesday evening, northeast of Katy, according to deputies.

The crash happened on August 11, on Mason at Katy Briar.

Deputies said a woman was driving a Ford Mustang when she collided with a pickup truck.

It’s unclear which driver ran the red light.

The woman had to be extricated from her vehicle by firefighters. She was airlifted to the hospital and is expected to survive.

The crash remains under investigation.
