Motorcyclist Seriously Injured in Crash with Vehicle on 50th Street in Lubbock
Rider Hospitalized after Lubbock Motorcycle Accident at 50th Street and Avenue D
Lubbock, Texas (July 3, 2022) – A motorcyclist was seriously injured in a collision with a vehicle at an intersection in Lubbock early Sunday morning, according to the Lubbock Police Department.
The accident was reported to the authorities at around 2:00 a.m. at the intersection of 50th Street and Avenue D.
Police said a motorcycle collided with a vehicle at the Lubbock intersection.
The motorcycle rider sustained major injuries and was taken to Covenant Medical Center. The name of the victim and their current condition were not available.
The road was closed in both directions following the wreck.
No other details about the crash were immediately provided.
The accident remains under investigation.
