Pedestrian Killed in Hit-and-Run Crash on Highway 6 in Houston

Man Killed in West Houston Pedestrian Accident on Highway 6 near Briar Forest

Houston, Texas (December 13, 2020) – A man was killed Saturday night in a hit-and-run crash in west Houston, according to police.

The deadly accident happened around 9:15 p.m., December 12, on Highway 6 near Briar Forest.

Police said the man was walking across the street when he was struck by a southbound silver Toyota Highlander.

The Highlander driver fled the scene without rendering aid.

The victim was killed in the crash. His name has not been released.

An investigation is underway. Anyone with information about the accident is asked to call the Houston Police Department at 713-247-4072.
