2 People Hit by Chase Suspect near Cavalcade and Chickering Streets in Houston

Two Injured in North Houston Pedestrian Accident near Cavalcade Street and Chickering Street

Houston, Texas (December 23, 2020) – Two people were hit by a chase suspect early Tuesday morning in North Houston, according to authorities.

The accident happened around 1:30 a.m., December 22, near the intersection of Cavalcade and Chickering streets.

Authorities said a suspect led police on a chase after refusing to pull over for a traffic stop.

The suspect then struck two people who were selling barbecue along the side of the road.

Both victims were taken to the hospital for treatment.

The suspect was arrested and taken into custody.

The police are investigating the crash.
