Edgar Samayoa ID’d as Motorcyclist Killed in Rylie Crash on Edd Road

Rylie, Texas (September 25, 2019) – The motorcyclist who was killed in a traffic accident Tuesday night in Rylie in far southeast Dallas has been identified as Edgar Samayoa, 23, according to the police.

The fatal crash occurred at about 9:00 p.m. September 24, in the 1700 block of Edd Road.

Police said Samayoa was riding a Kawasaki motorcycle southbound when a northbound Toyota Highlander turned left in front of him, resulting in a collision.

The impact ejected Samayoa from his motorcycle. He was taken to the hospital where he was later declared dead.

The driver of the Toyota stayed at the scene and cooperated with the authorities.

The Dallas police are investigating the crash.
