Pregnant Woman Injured in San Antonio Three-Vehicle Crash on N Pecos La Trinidad; Ray Williamson Arrested

San Antonio, Texas (December 20, 2021) – A pregnant woman was injured on Saturday in a DWI crash in San Antonio, according to the police.

The crash occurred just after 11:00 p.m., December 18, in the 100 block of 100 N Pecos La Trinidad.

Police said Ray Lamont Williamson, 39, was driving a gold 2005 Cadillac Escalade southbound when he veered into the left lane and struck the eastbound curb.

The Escalade then rear-ended a blue 2003 Chevrolet Avalanche that was traveling in the left lane. The impact pushed the Avalanche forward into the back of a red 2010 Mazda CX7.

A pregnant woman who was in the front passenger seat of the Mazda was taken to Metropolitan Methodist Hospital with abdominal pain and was listed in stable condition. She was wearing her seatbelt.

Williamson showed signs of intoxication and was evaluated for impairment. He was arrested for Driving While Intoxicated.

The police are investigating the crash.
