Man Dies in San Antonio Pedestrian Accident at Colima and Picoso Streets

San Antonio, Texas (February 1, 2019) – A man was struck and killed by a vehicle that jumped a curb on the city’s West Side on Thursday morning, according to the San Antonio Police Department.
The crash took place at about 10:45 a.m. January 31 on Colima and Picoso streets.
Police said a man in his 50s was driving a Ford F-150 northbound on Picoso Street when he suffered a medical condition and jumped the curb, hitting a pedestrian.
The Ford then continued and crashed through a fence before coming to a stop next to a house on the corner of Colima and Picoso streets.
The pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police said the driver remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigators.
The crash is under investigation.
