Crosby, Texas (July 8, 2021) – A woman was killed early Thursday morning in a hit-and-run crash in Crosby, according to the deputies.

The deadly accident happened around 1:00 a.m., on FM 2100.

Deputies said a woman was driving a Kia when she was involved in a collision with a Ford Explorer.

The woman was ejected from her car and was pronounced dead at the scene. Her name has not been released.

According to witnesses, the Ford driver stayed at the scene, but he soon left in a blue pickup truck.

The authorities are looking for the suspect, who if found, will likely face criminal charges.

The crash closed the roadway for several hours.
