One Injured in San Angelo Two-Vehicle Crash at Harris and Main

San Angelo, Texas (August 10, 2023) – One person was injured Wednesday afternoon in a two-vehicle crash in downtown San Angelo, according to the police.

The crash happened on August 9, at the intersection of E Harris and Main.

Police said a silver Kia Rio was traveling westbound on Harris and was attempting to turn southbound on Main. It turned left in front of a Black Buick Encore that was heading eastbound on Harris, resulting in a collision.

The driver of the Encore was taken to Shannon with non-life-threatening injuries.

The Kia driver was cited for failure to yield while making a left turn.

The police are investigating the crash.
