56-Year-Old Man Killed in El Paso Pedestrian Accident on Interstate 10

El Paso, Texas (December 14, 2019) – A 56-year-old man was hit and killed by a vehicle Monday night in East El Paso, according to the police.

The accident occurred at about 10:30 p.m. December 9, on Interstate 10 East near Yarbrough Drive.

Police said the man was attempting to cross the eastbound lanes of the interstate when he was struck by a 2013 Chevrolet Impala driven by 66-year-old Jose Manuel Sanchez.

The victim was taken to the hospital with head injuries, where he later died.

An investigation into the crash is underway.
