Glen Patrick Klima Hospitalized after Port Arthur Motorcycle Accident at FM 365 and West Port Arthur Road
Port Arthur, Texas (July 9, 2019) – A man was hospitalized Monday afternoon in a motorcycle accident in Port Arthur, according to a local news source.
The crash happened at about 2:00 p.m. Monday, July 8 at the intersection of FM 365 and West Port Arthur Road.
As per the report, an18-wheeler was traveling westbound on West Port Arthur Road while a 2002 Suzuki motorcycle driven by Glen Patrick Klima, 51, of Port Arthur, was heading westbound on FM 365 at a high rate of speed.
As the 18-wheeler entered the intersection it was hit by the motorcycle.
Klima, who was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash, sustained serious injuries and was transported to St. Elizabeth hospital.
The operator of the 18-wheeler was uninjured.
No other details were immediately available.
An investigation into the crash is underway.
