Susan Harrington Killed in Argyle Crash on Route 40
Argyle, Texas (August 24, 2019) – An elderly woman was killed in a head-on collision on Monday morning in Argyle, according to the authorities.
The wreck happened at about 7:00 a.m. August 19, on Route 40.
Police said Susan Harrington, 72, was driving a vehicle that collided head-on with an oncoming vehicle operated by a sheriff’s deputy. The deputy reportedly crossed the center line, leading to the crash.
Harrington was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The deputy was taken to Glens Falls Hospital and was said to be in stable condition.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
