One Injured in Midtown Train Crash at Main Street and Alabama

Midtown, Texas (December 10, 2021) – One person was injured early Thursday morning in a train crash in Midtown, according to the police.

The crash happened around 4:00 a.m., December 9, in the 900 block of Alabama Street at Alabama.

Police said a METRORail train was traveling northbound on Main Street when it collided with a car that was traveling westbound on Alabama.

Crews had to use Jaws of Life to extricate the car driver. The victim sustained unknown injuries in the crash.

The crash closed all lanes of Main Street and Alabama.

An investigation is underway.
