National Guardsman Killed in Motorcycle Accident at Sierra Vista and Cuatro Vientos Boulevards in Laredo

22-Year-Old National Guardsman Killed in Laredo Motorcycle Crash at Sierra Vista Boulevard and Cuatro Vientos Boulevard

Laredo, Texas (July 17, 2022) – A National Guardsman was killed in a motorcycle accident on Friday in Laredo, according to the Laredo Police Department.

The deadly crash took place at the intersection of Sierra Vista Boulevard and Cuatro Vientos Boulevard on July 15.

Police said the 22-year-old National Guardsman was riding a motorcycle southbound on Cuatro Vientos Boulevard when he was struck by an SUV driven by Edwin Antonion Olvera, 31.

The National Guardsman died in the crash. His name has not been released pending notification of next of kin.

Olvera stopped at the scene and cooperated with the investigators. He was not impaired at the time of the accident.

No further details about the crash were immediately provided.

The crash remains under investigation.
