One Killed in Grimes County Multi-Vehicle Crash on State Highway 249

Grimes County, Texas (September 29, 2023) – One person was killed on Thursday in a multi-vehicle crash in Grimes County, according to the Texas DPS.

The fatal crash happened around 10:00 a.m., September 28, on State Highway 249.

DPS said the crash involved an 18-wheeler, an SUV, and a pickup truck.

One person was killed in the crash. The victim’s identity has not been released.

The crash closed the highway from TX 105 to CR 304.

The DPS is investigating the crash.
