Man Killed in Axtell Pedestrian Accident on Highway 31

Axtell, Texas (February 17, 2020) – A man was hit and killed by a vehicle Monday morning near Axtell, according to the DPS.

The accident was reported at about 8:30 a.m. in the westbound lanes of Highway 31, near League Ranch Road.

DPS said the man was found lying in the grassy median. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.

The authorities are investigating the crash as a hit-and-run.
